
Celebrity world had lost a jewel. British Film director and actor Lionel Jeffries had died at the age 83, on Friday. He is known to all for his celebrated film version of the ‘Railway Children’ and his role in the movie ‘Chitty Chitty Bang Bang’. Jeffries appeared in over 70 films, including ‘The Colditz Story’, ‘The Prisoner of Zenda’, ‘The Trials of Oscar Wilde’ and ‘Camelot’. He was reknown for his bald-headed and born in London. He made his screen debut in 1950. He turned to television only in the mid-1980s appearing in the popular TV thriller series ‘Inspector Morse’. We feel very sorry for loosing such a talented genius like him and pray to the almighty for his peace in late life.
